While "Tips from a Shipwright" might seem a little far afield for a lot of us, Louis Sauzedde has a lot to teach every builder about working and restoring wood.
How to Sharpen a Chainsaw by Hand (embedded below) is one of his latest. It's a good example of the old-school approach and close attention to detail that makes Louis a master at his trade.
But there are plenty others that pertain to the building trades. A couple of my favorites include "How to use penetrating epoxy to seal and protect your wooden boat" (nice work with a scraper and block plane) and "Choosing the best timbers for building a boat" (lots of wood science to glean from here).
