JLC-Online is produced by the editors and publishers of The Journal of Light Construction, a monthly magazine serving residential and light-commercial builders, remodelers, designers, and other trade professionals. Since 1982, we have provided unbiased coverage of products, materials, and building techniques as well as hands-on management advice -- all written in plain English by fellow contractors and experts in the field. JLC is a Hanley-Wood publication.

We offer print subscriptions, as well as online memberships, and an archival CD-ROM containing every article published since 1986 (updated yearly). We also publish JLC books and host an online bookstore.
