Tools of the Trade editor Chris Ermides recently traveled to Germany for a tour of the Festool facilities and has come home with clear insights on some of the latest new tools coming our way. These include one of the sweetest little cordless drywall guns ever; the clearest and one of the brightest jobsite lights available; and the truly-awesome mini-track saw that has the potential to replace a miter saw for many framing and trim tasks. Perhaps the most exciting news from Festool, though, is that they have finally converted to inch marks, not mms, for all their dials and adjustments for tools sold in the U.S., alleviating a lot of confusion and conversion for us all.
