Repairs to leaking windows required removal of this house's exterior stucco.

When the author investigated this home's leaky windows, he found that the stucco was tight against the window frames — an indication that no casing bead had been installed.

When the stucco was removed, extensive rot was discovered in both sheathing and framing.

Designed for quick installation, E-Z Bead has an integral foam bond break.

To install it around the sides and bottom of the window, you snip the vinyl.
