Craig Smyth says he has assembled the “proverbial ‘A’ Team” of professionals who demonstrate the “utmost skill and optimum service.” Clemleddy Construction’s good reputation is supported by many long-term employees. It’s because of his team that he knows he’ll make it through this economy “better prepared than the competition,” he says.
Smyth (front, center) named the business in honor of his great-grandfather Clement Leddy, whose home he eventually inherited, refurbished, and sold to inject startup capital into the business.
Half of this design/build firm’s work is on second homes, which means Smyth must be highly organized, a good communicator, and establish trust quickly. Clemleddy’s personal service, e-mail newsletters, and customer log-in environment on the firm’s website allow Smyth to stay in touch with clients.
