Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced the owner of Integrity Home Solutions, William DeLuliis, has been charged in two separate counties relating to allegation of contractor fraud, according to an office news release.
The charges in St. Louis County and St. Charles County allege that Mr. DeLuliis falsely promised homeowners that he and his company Integrity Home Solutions would perform home repair and remodeling services in exchange for partial upfront payment. Despite being paid, Mr. DeLuliis failed to provide work or materials to several St. Louis-area homeowners.
Mr. DeLuliis has been arrested and posted bond. His first scheduled court appearance is on December 4, 2019 in St. Louis County.
The filing of criminal charges against DeLuliis and Integrity Home Solutions is the second such legal action taken against a home improvement contractor in recent months by the Attorney General's office. In July, Schmitt's office sued Apex Contracting & Roofing for allegedly scamming homeowners out of more than $70,000.
