A New Jersey construction worker was killed in a wall collapse at a home he was helping remodel, according to authorities. The victim worked for DeWitt Concrete and Masonry of Bridgeton, N.J., NJ.com reports.

The worker was trapped under debris at the home he was helping remodel after a foundation wall collapsed on him. He was freed and transported to a nearby hospital, but died a short time later, according to Lower Alloways Creek Township police chief Richard Venable Jr.

Venable said no charges were filed but that OSHA is conducting its own investigation of the incident.
