A 72-year-old Iowa woman and her 69-year-old husband were hurt when their deck collapsed during a Labor Day cookout, sending the couple to the hospital with burns and other injuries. According to a report in the Des Moines Register, a BBQ grill spilled hot coals onto the woman as the deck fell away from the house. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
