Even though Florida didn't take a direct hit from Hurricane Dorian, the homeowner says that winds were strong enough to blow down a deck in Flagler Beach, according to a story by Robert Guaderrama of FOX 35 ORLANDO. But judging by a photo of the collapsed deck that appears with the story (there's some great video too), it looks like Dorian might have done the owner a favor, since it looks like there was rot at the ledger connection and a sketchy framing detail that might have led to a more catastrophic failure, regardless of whether or not a storm was in the forecast.
