Hilti was founded in 1941 as a family-owned company. And we still are. The Martin Hilti Family Trust holds all shares and participation certificates of the Hilti Corporation. That means Martin Hilti’s vision for the company is protected today and preserved for tomorrow.

The group is headquartered in Schaan, Liechtenstein. But our reach extends worldwide. While the Hilti team includes nearly 20,000 members in more than 120 countries, we share a common culture built on a foundation of teamwork, integrity, courage and commitment.
