The Milwaukee cordless stapler weighs about 3 pounds with a 1.5Ah battery. The belt hook is reversible; rubber bumpers on the sides help protect finished surfaces when the stapler is placed on the side opposite the belt hook.
A power adjustment knob allows you to dial in the depth of drive for fasteners based on length and the material you're going into. A fuel gauge tells you the battery level as it's losing charge.
The depth gauge window indicates the depth of drive. More red means more power means a deeper drive.
The contact actuation tip sticks out 3/8 inch at all times (until it's depressed when firing). While this is an obvious safety feature, it does pose a potential issue if this tip gets bent or, worse, breaks off (which is highly unlikely unless in an extreme fall).
Openings on the side of the magazine allow you to see how many staples are left. The stapler also has dry-fire lockout at five staples and will hold an additional full sleeve when it needs to be reloaded.
