For most jobs, the author leans on his “80% parachute bag” with the fasteners he uses 80% of the time: 2 1/2- and 3-inch GRK general purpose wood screws, 2 1/2- and 3-inch GRK trim-head screws, 1 1/4-inch Kreg pocket-hole screws, and 2 1/2-inch cabinet screws. Each kind of screw has a color-coded bit in a bit holder of the same color.
