Both the deck and gazebo were designed and built by Around Your House in Lambertville, Mich.
Note the vent in the stone-clad skirting. Good air circulation under the deck was necessary for the ipe decking.
Plywood forms the substrate for the stone fascia.
The metal lath was installed atop a weather-resistant barrier. A scratch coat and stone fascia will cover it completely.
