Training the Trades

Building a skilled workforce remains one of the biggest challenges to growth in the residential construction industry. One thing sorely lacking is broad awareness of, and communication between, the many effective educational programs worldwide.Progress towards a skilled workforce would accelerate if we were all rowing in the same direction.

On the pages linked here, JLC is pleased to promote the many professional training and career development opportunities available for the construction trades. We also point to positive examples of leadership and innovation, particularly among the next generation of business leaders in our industry. We hope to provide the beginnings of a more dynamic dialogue, building towards a more productive and lucrative building industry for all.
