PanelShield SA from VaproShield is designed for use behind closed-joint screen cladding assemblies. The product is composed of a proprietary polyacrylic coating on spun-bond fabric with a specially formulated adhesive that ensures membrane adhesion on multiple substrate types, including plywood, OSB, gypsum sheathing, concrete, and steel. PanelShield SA does not require a primer. It can be installed in any weather conditions, including in temperatures below freezing, and can be exposed for up to 12 months before being covered by cladding.
