I,m bidding on a 6600 sqft commercial stick frame building. The plans call out the typical 2x members to be stamped S-DRY with a moisture content of 19% or less. However, this time the structural engineer is calling out for 6x6 shear post not to exceed 15% moisture content.
Has anyone used anytype of 6x6 material that might meet this
