Doug York was making custom kitchen cabinets with solid surface countertops when a customer asked him to find door handles and drawer pulls made of matching solid surface material. His research found none. To satisfy the customer, he decided to fabricate the solid surface handles by hand.
A sales representative of a large Midwestern hardware distributor saw the handle on Doug's desk and encouraged Doug to visit the president of his company. This forward-looking president saw the style and value of the product, and Doug left with the first order for Rock Solid, Inc.'s products.
After investigating and experimenting with several production methods, Doug invested in computerized equipment. Today, Rock Solid's computer-generated fabrication system produces the finest products available which are distributed world-wide.
The company is proud of the fact that it is doing its part to keep fall-off solid surface materials out of land fills. Rock Solid, Inc. uses top quality fall-off (sink cut-outs, end pieces, etc.) from countertop fabricators for most of Rock Solid's products.
Rock Solid, Inc., is based on customer satisfaction and that is how it began in 1989. Our beautiful, custom-finished accessories are a welcome addition to any remodeling or building project.
The perfect pieces to add artistic style and elegance to your home.

Nonetheless, contractors and the suppliers they buy from say there seems to be less and less wood siding used.
