Under Pressure. Makita brought a couple of its Japanese-market nailers to the U.S. and paired them up with a new compressor. The AC310H compressor features a 1.6-gallon tank that holds as much air at 400 psi as a 5-gallon tank at standard pressure, says the company. It has regulators and air outlets for both standard- and high-pressure use. Two coil nailers have made their debut as well: the 1 1/4- to 2 1/2-inch-capacity AN610H siding model and the 1 3/4- to 3 1/2-inch-capacity AN911H framer.
