...And More of the Same
When I started working here in mid-July as the new editor of New
England Builder, I heard two main sentiments from the authors,
columnists, and other people I contacted. First, they welcomed and
congratulated me. Then they asked, "You're not going to make any
big changes, are you?"
I take the latter comments to mean that our writers—and I suspect
our readers—like New England Builder pretty much the way it
is. To me that's good news. It makes my job a lot easier. I don't have
to sit back right away and ask the impossible question that all editors
