Our business started on a part-time basis, in 1982, while I was still employed as a policeman. In 1989, I retired from the force because I was having more fun remodeling than riding a beat. People were happier to see me, and I felt a much greater sense of accomplishment. My son, Paul, joined me in 1995, and we’ve been working together successfully ever since.
