Recently released data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s New Single-Family Houses Completed report says that new homes have more bathrooms, bedrooms, and bigger central air-conditioning systems. What does this mean for remodelers? If homes built between 2003 and 2013 have more of these features, the owners of non-remodeled homes built between 1973 and 2002 may want to update their properties to include them, too.
