Old Celotex sheathing behind brick
I recently agreed to redesign a 1930's brick Georgian house for an old friend in a suburb of Boston. Ironically, I never take on brick houses because they are so difficult to modify.

The infamous "stacked" fireplace
Really sticks to classical details here.....
Started laughing out loud when I saw that stupid fireplace. Who the hell specs these homes by STACKING fireplaces? For gods sake, at least design an appropriate fireplace.
Not as bad as the one a couple weeks ago in that other post with the triple stacked.
