Bluetooth technology continues to make inroads in bathroom entertainment. Homewerks Worldwide has introduced what it calls the first Bluetooth-enabled bath ventilation fan that streams music wirelessly into the bathroom.
Homewerks cites an eMarketer survey that says 56% of smartphone owners use their devices for music listening, making the Bluetooth Bath Fan an ideal upgrade for homeowners that want to be able to listen to their music anytime, anywhere - whether they're just getting the day going, freshening up for a night out, or coming home for a relaxing spa experience.
The Bluetooth Bath Fan connects to most Bluetooth-enabled smartphones, tablets, and laptops from up to 30 feet away. After the initial setup, the fan connects to devices automatically when they're in rance of the speaker.
"Many homeowners are looking for affordable ways to customize their bathroom – another room in the home that is increasingly becoming more 'plugged-in'," says Peter Berkman, President at Homewerks Worldwide. "The Bluetooth Bath Fan is an innovative solution that responds to our customers' changing lifestyle needs."
In addition to being high-tech with a crisp speaker sound, the fan is also quiet at just 1.5 sones, and generates 90 CFM. The sleek, white design mounts seamlessly into the ceiling and provides a significant upgrade over standard fans.
