Azek is helping contractors reclaim some lost labor hours on the jobsite. The maker's new Ready Rake lets installers eliminate the task of laminating boards onsite for certain exterior trim applications. The one-piece extruded profile offers the finished look of a stacked 1x8 and 1x3, with a 13/16-inch cutout to cover siding edges when used as freize or fascia board. Available in 18-foot lengths with a smooth white finish, the cellular PVC trim can also be painted.
Azek is also introducing Quick-Corner featuring an easier installation with a generous 13/16" J-channel pocket to accepts virtually all types of siding. The profile's 1 1/4-inch nailing flange allows simple overlap of flashing or house wrap and installs quickly with a pneumatic nail gun. www.azek.com
