For Atlas Roofing, "high performance" means more than just durable materials. It also means helping to ensure that its customers are performing at a high level as well. The company's HP Technology high-performance shingles have a number of features to help make that happen, the first being their oversized design. With exposures of 6 inches or 8 1/2 inches depending on the product line, roofing contractors can make fewer trips up and down the ladder, and fewer laps per installation, saving as many as 240 shingles on a 40-square job. That means completing projects quicker and moving onto the next.

In addition to fewer shingles overall, installers will save on fasteners as well. HP Technology shingles feature Fastac double sealant lines that adhere quickly and help form a long-lasting seal. They also require four nails per shingle, compared to up to 6 on some standard sized shingles. Together with the larger size, installers can save as many as 6,240 nails per job. Even with a four-nail installation, HP Technology shingles can withstand up to 130 mph winds and boast a Class IV impact resistance rating.

HP Technology is a featured component for the maker's StormMaster Slate, StormMaster Shake, and Pinnacle Pristine shingles. Check with your local dealer for availability and pricing. atlasroofing.com.
