Carlisle Wide Plank Floors has added four new hardwood flooring options for residential and commercial spaces, inspired by the most common requests Carlisle receives for custom alterations to its existing hardwood flooring options.

“Although 70% of our customers choose to design their own wide plank floor, they all start by reviewing our Collection floors, which feature our most popular tried-and-true finishes,” says Chris Sy, president of Carlisle Wide Plank Floors. “Very often, they find a floor that is very close to what they are looking for, but then want to tweak it slightly. By adding a texture, changing the sheen, or thinning the stain on one of our Collection floors, they are able to arrive at their perfect floor without the effort of starting from scratch.”

According to the manufacturer, the four new designs—Forest Path, Ocean Sand, Snow Drift, and Winter Light—are inspired by the “ebb and flow of the natural world.”

Forest Path consists of 8-inch, heirloom-grade white oak planks in a smooth finish, with a medium-brown tone designed to complement a range of interior designs. Ocean Sand—8-inch brushed white oak in a choice of signature or heirloom grade—is defined by subtle neutral tones, with minimal gloss and sheen to create a raw look. Snow Drift—8-inch brushed hickory in heirloom grade—incorporates a medium white stain to create a variety of color tone layers, and Winter Light—8-inch brushed white oak in signature or heirloom grade—uses a stronger medium white over a brushed texture to account for light diffusion through slight cloud cover.

The new floors are available in a 3/4-inch plank thickness and 2- to 12-foot lengths, in a choice of engineered or solid wood construction.

“With these newest additions to our line, we’re not only making customization easier but helping our customers realize the truly endless possibilities available to create beautiful floors that perfectly complement their interior spaces,” Sy says. wideplankflooring.com
