Chicago's Merchandise Mart recently launched LuxeHome, www.luxehome.com, a 24-boutique kitchen and bath shopping experience for both design professionals and consumers. The retail center has more than 70,000 square feet of showroom space and offers one-stop shopping for remodeling and building.

Each boutique features designers who can assist with all phases of a project. The products offered include kitchen and bath fixtures and fittings, lighting, hardware, tile, cabinets, appliances, and windows and doors.

"Homeowners will see their finest dream kitchens and baths from their favorite home magazines and design television programs come to life in the LuxeHome boutiques," says Katherine Flaherty, vice president of building projects & special projects, Merchandise Mart Properties Inc.

LuxeHome will offer regularly programmed special events, one-of-a-kind displays, and in-boutique cooking demonstrations to keep the homeowner at the forefront of kitchen and bath innovations. The Merchandise Mart is also coordinating a series of Saturday events that will include cooking demonstrations, book signings, and design lectures by industry notables and leading shelter magazines, including Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home, Southern Accents, Traditional Home, and more.
