One part of the two-piece design stays securely on the post while you hammer down the 16-pound sliding handle, driving the post into the ground. To remove the post, you tighten the attached clamping bolt and pound up. Some tips from our experience: You need padded gloves, hearing and eye protection, and a short piece of pipe to use as a cheater bar on the clamping lever to save your hands. The product costs $90.
