Each of us has a preconceived idea of what an estimating database should be. I have preached for years that the databases that come packaged with most estimating systems aren't the answer to solving your estimating problems. I have yet to review a program that doesn't work well, but I still haven't seen a database (at any price) that works better than the one I created for myself.
