Nichiha has added a choice of finishes to its Sierra Premium fiber-cement shakes. They now come either pre-primed or prefinished in one of the three semi-transparent colors shown. (Coatings are supplied by PPG.) Shakes are available in 9-foot 4-inch panels and have deep grooves and keyways to mimic wood, as well as full 1/2-inch thickness. Cost is $6 to $7 per square foot.
