A garage door with no tracks, no springs, and no rails? Amarr has it, and the sleek technology is pretty impressive.
Crafted in Italy for Amarr by Silvelox, the Trento Collection is constructed from Okoume marine-grade hardwood and features a unique two-section overlap achieved by a double-counterweight system and integrated opener. The operation is described as the door leaning back, folding in half, and splitting into two panels wherein the lower panel rests under the upper panel in the fully open position.
"The Trento Collection features garage doors that function and look unlike any others on the market," says Amarr marketing director Vickie Lents. "The Trento Collection is the 'wow factor' that many homeowners and car enthusiasts have been waiting for in a garage door." With the opener tucked into the door's headbar, the Trento Collection has a compact footprint that makes it ideal for brownstone homes with lower-level parking, or other space limitations. "With the resulting clean interior of a Trento door, this collection has strong appeal in rooms with indoor/outdoor living, as well as commercial applications, such as open-air restaurants," Lents says. "In many instances where space is at a premium, garage doors from the Trento collection can be installed where previously thought impossible."
The collection offers a variety of sleek, modern designs made popular in Europe by Silvelox, as well as carriage house styles that Amarr is known for. Several wood stains and paint colors are available. Click below to check out Amarr's video of the Trento door in action. Amarr | 800.503.3667 | amarr.com
