The Craftsman style is the look of the moment in doors. More than just a trend, the clean lines and solid elegance of the Arts and Crafts era make it a versatile style, just as at home in rustic suburban settings as it is in the city. And the style is a perfect opportunity for fiberglass door manufacturers looking to showcase how much their doors resemble authentic wood.

“Our new doors are reminiscent of early 20th century American architecture,” says Jeld-Wen product marketing manager Shane Meisel. “[They] replicate the distinctive appearance of natural wood — and wood is the essence of Craftsman style.”

Many companies offer glass options with true-to-the-era geometric patterns in beveled and colored glass. These choices can be a great selling point for homeowners looking for a way to up curb appeal and distinguish their homes from the others on the block.

Tru-Stile. Three door series were added to the Authentic Designs collection at this year's International Builders' Show. The Art Deco Series, shown, features flat-panel doors with square or beveled sticking and applied moldings. The Farmhouse Series is inspired by the classic American homestead, and the High Country Series has a rustic, cabin feel. 303.286.3931. www.trustile.com.
