TimberTech used the International Builders' Show to roll out a redesigned line of decking. Its new Tropical Collection features colors and textures modeled after reclaimed wood, according to a company press release. TimberTech said the decking won a positive reaction in independent consumer testing. It includes four colors-Antique Palm, a streaked brown; Caribbean Redwood, a blend of red and browns with darker color variegations; Antigua Gold, a streaked golden brown; and Amazon Mist, a mid-tone gray. Jason Grommon, president of parent company CPG Building Products, said the new capped composite decking reflected colors and styles preferred by consumers.
