The latest addition to Milwaukee Tool’s M12 cordless lithium-ion battery tool platform is the M12 23-Gauge Pin Nailer, designed to provide professional-level performance without the need for pneumatic components like a compressor hose or gas cartridge.
The nailer is made to drive 23-gauge headless pin nails ranging from 1/2-inch to 1 3/8-inches in length, and can fire up to 750 nails per M12 RedLithium battery pack charge. The built-in nitrogen air spring mechanism allows the nailer to consistently sink pin nails at the proper depth into hard and soft woods, leaving small, clean nail holes behind.
The double-action trigger and non-marring precision point tip allow for fine trim work, and the dry-fire lockout mechanism serves to prevent misfires that may damage a work piece. The tool body also features an LED work light, reversible belt clip, battery fuel gauge, and magazine reload indicator.
“For years, pros have demanded a cordless 23-gauge pin nailer solution with the power to sink nails into hardwoods and finally replace their pneumatic pin nailers on the jobsite,” says Sean Kelley, senior product manager for Milwaukee Tool. “With the introduction the M12 23-Gauge Pin Nailer, users now have a compact, powerful pin nailing solution that delivers the precision and power that they need through the convenience and portable power of the M12 cordless platform.”
The M12 23-Gauge Pin Nailer is set to launch this month. It will be available as a bare tool for $199, or with a kit including a M12 RedLithium CP 1.5Ah battery pack, charger, and contractor bag, priced at $249. milwaukeetool.com
