Framer Tim Uhler had been using Big Foot saws for years before the Skilsaw Sawsquatch came along. Those early Big Foots took Bosch or Skil bodies and adapted the guards to use larger blades. But the new Skilsaw, which was intentionally designed to spin a larger-diameter blade, outperformed the adapted Big Foots. In his first review of the Sawsquatch, Uhler concluded by saying, “If I was buying now, I’d save up and get a Sawsquatch.”
However, Big Foot Tools recently redesigned the SC-1025SU saw to compete with the Sawsquatch, and the improvements have made a big impression, putting it back on top for Uhler.
