Cool Mist. Most tile saws pump water out of a large pan to cool their cuts, which can cause a lot of overspray and dripping. MK's new TX3 avoids this problem by using a high-pressure mist system that dispenses much less water and leaves only a toothpaste-like residue in the catch pan. The saw plunge cuts and tilts up to 45 degrees for bevel cuts; it can handle straight cuts on 24-inch tiles and diagonal cuts on 18-inch tiles. It takes 10-inch and smaller blades with uncommon one-inch arbor holes and is available from the manufacturer for $1,015. MK Diamond, 800/421-5830. www.mkdiamond.com
