Makita's new SP6000K rail-guided 6-1/2-inch Plunge Circular Saw features an electronic speed control that maintains constant speed under load, a variable-speed dial (2,000 to 5,200 rpm) for optimum performance in different materials, and a cutting capacity from 2-3/16 inches at 90 degrees and 1-9/16 inches at 45 degrees. The saw cuts within 11/16 inch of a wall, has a built-in depth stop, and weighs just 9.1 pounds.
