Keen Utility has been expanding its utility-work-boot line for several years now, building off of the popular outdoor style the company is known for. Along with new soft-toe models, Keen Utility recently released the Leavenworth Met. The 6-inch-tall boot has an internal metatarsal guard made from Poron XRD—a soft and flexible fabric that goes rigid on impact—that protects the foot from crush injuries. Left and right asymmetrical steel toes are ASTM-rated and meet electrical resistance standards (EH). The heel and rubber outsole are oil- and slip-resistant.
