The Remodeling Leadership Conference — REMODELING's annual summit of home improvement industry leaders that complements the induction of the new class of Big50 winners — was held May 4-6 at the Ritz Carlton - Pentagon City, just outside Washington, D.C. This year's program was titled "The Color of Money: Green & the Future of Remodeling," and featured six speakers and an expert panel on a variety of topics related to green building and remodeling. The topic is certainly a hot one, as more than 300 people from all corners of the country — and at least one company from Canada — attended. If you weren't able to join us, the following articles are a small taste of what you missed: Key points from each of the conference's seven sessions have been summarized.
What you won't find here are the valuable networking opportunities that occur when the industry's finest minds get together in one place. Also missing is the excitement of the Big50 Awards Gala dinner, truly one of remodeling's most special evenings. We look forward to seeing you next year!
