myKhee, a new online portal connecting contractors to homeowners, officially launched today, joining dozens of other sites in the Repair Wars. The websites state goal is to, "help homeowners easily connect with subcontractors and handy amateurs who work on small home projects."
The website is currently only available in the Pittsburgh areas, but has plans to expand to other cities and add additional features such as integrated payments. The platform is free for homeowners and contractors alike. Homeowners post their projects on the website and then receive bids from professionals and handy amateurs.
Handy amateurs are described by the website as being, "non-professionals who are handy."
myKhee enters a growing field of websites and apps that hope to connect contractors with homeowners that Remodeling has dubbed the Repair Wars.
