TANOS GmbH, with its headquarters in Illertissen, Germany, was founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co. KG. The aim of the company is both the sale and further development of the systainer® family of products.
The systainer® was developed as a result of the need to be able to securely pack work materials and tools, to organise them comprehensively and, above all, to transport them in a timely way. This resulted in a unique, patented case system, in which the individual systainer® units can be stacked and combined with one another.
