Simpson says that its DBC Drywall Bridging Connector is the first of its kind. Load-rated for smaller, 3/4-inch U-channel bridging, it can be installed with a single screw. The connector is compatible with conventional and proprietary drywall studs with thicknesses ranging from 15 to 33 mil, and with stud depths of 3 5/8 inches and 6 inches.
