DeWalt says its new 18-volt nanophosphate lithium-ion batteries can endure 2,000 charging cycles — three to four times the number you can expect from a similarly sized nicad pack. Though they're also compatible with older DeWalt tools, the batteries are included with the company's new DC927KL 1/2-inch three-speed hammer drill.
