With the launch of LP Elements Performance engineered wood fencing, LP Building Solutions has made its first move into the fencing market, and its third product launch so far in 2019.

The LP Elements fencing comes in six-inch by six-foot picket posts, with a dog-ear design that is made and tested to resist hail, wind impacts, winds up to and over 200 mph, Exposure D, and humid temperatures. The wood does not bend, warp or twist, according to the manufacturer, and a proprietary zinc borate-based process provides additional resistance against termites. It is available in cedar and redwood varieties, and does not require re-staining over time.

“The first shipment of LP Elements fencing represents a significant milestone in the fencing industry,” says LP product technology director Ashwin Himat. “It is the first and only engineered wood fence product for the market, and now it is in the market. A longtime leader in building solutions, we’re committed to making LP Elements a game-changing new product for installers and homeowners.”

The manufacturer has just shipped its first order of LP Elements Performance Fencing to Jamieson Fence Supply, a Dallas, Tex. based fencing wholesaler.

“Like LP, Jamieson Fence Supply is solutions-minded,” says Justin McMichael, area vice president of sales with Jamieson Fence Supply. “We value the advancements LP is contributing to our industry with LP Elements Performance Fencing. We are proud to be the first to take it to market and ultimately help put LP Elements to work for the end customer.” lpcorp.com
