Integrated Rainscreen for Masonry Veneer

Certainteed recently introduced Stonefacade, a concrete masonry veneer that doesn’t require mortar; instead, panels attach over the wall’s weather barrier with screws through a stainless clip. This installation system creates a 3/8-inch air space and weep channels behind the stone that promise to alleviate water-intrusion problems that have plagued conventional “faux stone” products when poorly installed.
