Ply Gem’s new engineered cedar roofing is inspired by real cedar shingles, but is made from the same proprietary polymer formulation as Ply Gem’s engineered slate roofing. GAF says that its Glenwood Shingles are the thickest triple-layer asphalt shingle on the market. The shingles are made to look like real wood shakes but are available at a lower cost than their wood counterparts. 4. Sting Like a Bee
National Nail has expanded its line of Stinger roofing products to include EXO25, EXO35, and EXO50 synthetic underlayments, which are UV-resistant and can remain exposed for up to six months. The fabrics offer high tear strength and proprietary, non-skid additives.
