Designed for use with asphalt shingles as a guard against wind-driven rain along eaves, roof penetrations, and valleys, DryRoof SA roof underlayment from CertainTeed helps prevent water intrusion by sealing around fasteners and other penetrations. UV-exposure resistant for six months, the lightweight self-adhering underlayment has a split-release backing and a slip-resistant sand surface to reduce the risk of falls. It’s available in 45-pound rolls with a roll area of 195 square feet. The product is warranted against manufacturing defects and to remain watertight up to a maximum of 50 years.
