WHY HE LIKES IT: “After my [home’s] roof had hail damage, my independent adjuster told me we’d save 25% to 30% on our annual homeowner’s insurance because the DaVinci Roofscapes polymer roof we purchased resists severe weather, hail, and fire,” Marenin says. “After seeing my new roof, he was so impressed by its quality and reasonable pricing that he told me he was seriously considering getting this product for his own home.”
Marenin’s homeowner’s association was also impressed with the product. Because the shakes appear so authentic, the roof sailed through the HOA’s approval process.
Marenin says that he originally saw the Bellaforté shake at a trade show and did extensive research on the product, connecting with several roofing installers in the process.
His biggest challenge was envisioning how the product would look on his home, but the DaVinci sales rep solved that problem. “He came to my house with a 3-by-5-foot display on the back of his truck,” Marenin says. “Seeing this large expanse of the product convinced me that this was the roof for my house.”
