Floor Tools. Hitachi has entered the floor- fastening market with five new nailers and staplers. First out were the NT50YF manual ($289) and the NT50AGF oilless pneumatic ($699; shown) flooring nailers. The manual nailer has a multiple-blow mechanism that raises the striking head only after the nail is fully driven. The other new tools are a nailer and a stapler — both oil-lubed — and a smaller stapler for thin laminate flooring with an unusual front and rear dual-trigger design.
