The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that although sulfur-emitting Chinese-made drywall smells bad and corrodes wiring, air-conditioning coils, and other metals, there’s no evidence that it was a factor in the deaths of 11 people who lived in or visited homes with the defective product. The medical records of the 11 people were reviewed by health officials in the three states where they died, Louisiana, Florida, and Virginia. (Builder)
